More than 40 years ago concerened and passionate citizens helped to create the United Way of Northeastern Minnesota to help people in need and make our community a better place for everyone. Our work today goes far beyond raising and distributing money. We are seen as change agents, who bring together experts from all across the community including government, business, faith groups, labor, nonprofits and ordinary citizens to create long lasting change.

Imagine a region where all children grow into successful adults and all families and individuals are economically self sufficient. By focusing on the buidling blocks of life; education, income, and health we can create this better life for all.

The United Way of Northeasten Minnesota is inspiring others to unite in building a stronger more self sufficient region. Together, we can increase resources and make measurable impact on our communities most pressing issues. Together, we can accomplish more than any single group can on it's own.
