There's something really special about the stories you read as a kid. If you were lucky enough to have access to books you probably have a favorite from your childhood. It's those memories and moments that books provide that are such an important part of a child's early years.
The United Way of Northeastern Minnesota is hoping to keep a program alive that ensures every child, no matter their family's income, gets the chance to imagine through books.
"You really like Llama llama though don't you," said Mara Brownlee to her 5-year-old son Finn.
