United Way of Northeastern Minnesota’s Day of Action, presented by U.S. Steel, is coming up in Chisholm. People will tackle home improvement jobs and community beautification projects.
The United Way moves the volunteer effort to different spots each year.
“We’re excited to have it in Chisholm. This year is our organization’s 60th anniversary. So to be bringing Day of Action to literally our backyard is exciting,” Katy Lofquist told us. She’s the Communication Director for UWNEMN. “It’s a great opportunity for families, for workplaces, for service groups, youth groups, anybody who’s interested. Come on out and help beautify our community.”
